I had been told Los Arqueros was really tight, a 7 handicapper had played it and lost 9 balls. Well the day we played was the windiest I had ever played in and the first tee was daunting in those conditions. I hit my rescue club )normally about 160 yds( around 100 yards. However much of the Course is in a valley and protected from the wind. I thought it was a great test of golf, quite tight but not unfair. I actually played to my handicap, I am not a long hitter but can hit slices and hooks but on this day I played to my handicap and never lost a ball!! It won\'t suit the eratic long hitters but even low handicappers can get their drivers out on some holes. This is a great holiday golf course, and from a 17 handicappers view if I hit a good tee shot I was never more than a medium to long iron from the green.
