The Island Golf Club is one of Ireland’s Premier Links Courses. A mere 15 minutes from Dublin Airport. This links course is located across the estuary from the quaint village of Malahide, just North of Portmarnock.

This beautiful links course, in splendid isolation, is surrounded by the Irish Sea, Donabate Beach and Broadmeadow Estuary. Nestling between the highest sand dunes of any links course in Ireland, it’s rugged beauty cannot fail to impress.

How to get to The Island Golf Club , Donabate (Ireland)

Directions from Dublin: Start out at Dublin: Dublin, Follow signs for Belfast and the M1 (N1), Drumcondra Pass through Drumcondra and continue straight, following signs for the M1 (N1), Start of Motorway M1, Join M1 Motorway (M1), Junction 3 (M50), Keep forward (M1) , Junction for Dublin Airport, Keep forward (signposted Belfast) (M1) , Lissenhall Interchange (R132), Leave M1 motorway (signposted Donabate). At roundabout take 3rd exit and at ensuing roundabout take 2nd exit R126 (R126), (Road to) Newbridge House (on left) (R126) , Pass Newbridge House and take 2nd right (signposted for the Island Golf Club) (R126) (Coaches – please continue to Donabate village and follow directions listed below – low bridge on this road), Follow the road around the Estuary. The Island Golf Club is on your right.
