In 1991 the Tangolunda Golf Course in Huatulco was inaugurated, the first single level field in the region, designed by Mario Schjetnan Dantan and Pedro Giiereca, located in an excellent area completed by three beautiful lakes, over an area of 72.5 hectares with 18 holes at par 72 championship category with 6,851 yards, wide tracks, colonial architecture, open spaces, porticoed areas, two beautiful oasis strategically placed holes 6 and 12, and a unique view of the Bay of Tangolunda in 13th hole.
For greater enjoyment and comfort, Huatulco Tangolunda Golf offers a range of additional services such as parking, pro-shop, four professional tennis courts, service candor, golf pro, golf carts, equipment rental, snack bar, pool, mobile bar, restaurant, bar and general offices with long distance and fax.
