Stellenbosch
Green Fees & Tee Times

Over 100 years old, the Stellenbosch Golf Course was extended in 1953 from a 9-hole course into the 18-hole championship course it is today. Situated in the centre of the scenic Cape Winelands, just 30 minutes drive from Cape Town, Stellenbosch is steeped in old Cape Dutch history which is evident everywhere you look.

Nestled at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain and set in amongst some of the world’s most famous wine farms, thus surrounded by vineyards, this 6,037 metre long parkland course offers unique and memorable challenges to the golfer.

The signature hole for the Stellenbosch Golf Course is the par-5, 14th hole, with its green concealed among trees around the corner of a dogleg.

The Stellenbosch Golf Course has hosted many prestigious tournaments, such as the South African Open Championship and the South African Masters. In 1999, the South African Open, held at Stellenbosch, proved to be one of the toughest Opens in the last decade.

With a wide variety of South African wines on offer, as well as outstanding clubhouse facilities and a fully-stocked Pro Shop, this is an excellent location to play a challenging round of golf.
