Start off with a mission: a 600-foot elevation change from holes one to six. Hole nine challenges you with directional shifts that profit from desert and mountain terrain. At several holes, you’re within a pitching wedge of the ocean. The course stretches 3,527 yards from the championship tees, all against a breathtaking backdrop of the Sea of Cortez.

Palmilla offers golfers spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez from nearly every hole as it winds through centuries old cardon cacti and rugged desert mountain terrain, making each hole a memorable experience for golfers of every skill level.

The course is divided into the Arroyo Nine, the Mountain Nine and the Ocean Nine. The five sets of staggered tee boxes ensure golfers, from beginners to professionals, an exciting game.

The Ocean Nine was completed in 1999 and features a 600’ elevation change from holes one to six. The Ocean Nine takes advantage of the natural desert and mountain terrain and incorporates challenging directional changes. Several holes are located within a pitching wedge of the ocean, affording players unparalleled panoramic views of the Sea of Cortes. Featuring two par threes and two par five’s, the new layout stretches to 3,527 yards.
