The 18-hole Montereau la Forteresse golf club spreads over 39.7 acres in the heart of the Orvanne valley in Yvonne, about 17.7mi south of Fontainebleau.

Built in 1988, the course was designed by the team of architects Fromanger and Adam, in a circuit as beautiful as technical: the varied design of the holes reveals different horizons of a rolling wooded landscape with beautiful bodies of water.

In addition to the 18-hole run, the course is designed to welcome beginners and experienced golfers looking to improve their game, thanks to the compact 4 holes, driving range (30 tees, 10 covered), a putting and a pitching green.
The 18-hole Foreteresse golf club happily mixes challenges along the course.

After the long tee-offs of the first two holes, the fairways narrow halfway through the course, scattered with bodies of water dug as fearsome guards and bordered by tall foliage.

At the end of the course, the well-defended bunkers are weary of the players, alternating progressive approaches and small game as tackle the greens.

An excellent 18-hole course where the beginner progresses in stages and the seasoned golfer tests his technical skills.
Access to the club: take highway A6, then the “Fontainebleau” exit; follow regional road D219 and take the “Thoury-Ferrottes” exit.
