Eaglescliffe Golf Club

Eaglescliffe Golf Club is situated close to the junction of the A66 and A19, 6 miles from Middlesbrough and 1 mile from the historic medieval riverside town of Yarm, noted for the quality of its restaurants, pubs and vibrant atmosphere. The tree lined, parkland golf course is a “must” for all visitors to the North East of England, nestled beside the River Tees with the
Cleveland Hills as a backdrop.

The course has been described by Golf Monthly as a “hidden gem” of English golf. Though picturesque, the 6,289 yard par 72 course, designed by James Braid and Henry Cotton is demanding due to the nature of the rolling terrain, sloping greens and strategically positioned ponds but offers a fair challenge for both novice and experienced golfers.

The excellent clubhouse with its panoramic views from the main lounge offers top quality catering, a fine array of ales and wines and an atmosphere which will ensure that a visit to Eaglescliffe is a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
