Opened in October 2003, Alcanada features a privileged setting of natural terrain and a construction-free site right next to the Mediterranean. Designed by legendary golf course architects Robert Trent Jones Sr and Jr, the par 72 course has 4 par 5s, 8 par 4s and 4 par 3s. The virgin terrain gently slopes down towards the shoreline, with its pine, olive and oak trees and there is a marvellous view of the island of Alcanada with lighthouse in the foreground, and the mountains of the Sierra de Levante in the background.

This course is a must for every golfer.Robert Trent Jones Jr has designed this beautiful golf course of Alcanada which opened in Mallorca on 1st October 2003. Typical Trent Jones features like 58 well placed green side and fairway bunkers, challenging greens with hidden breaks and difficult but fair tee shots already make this golf course a must for all experienced golfers travelling to Mallorca. At least as spectacular as the design of the course is the view across the bay of Alcudia that the player has from nearly every hole. Club de Golf Alcanada is the only golf course in Mallorca that is consistently right by the sea. You’ll find pure nature on the course with a wide variety of wildlife including many rare species of birds.

Alcanada is a very fair, hilly course with great views, in a great position on the bay of Alcudia. The name comes from the lighthouse island of Alcanada that can be seen from most holes. A great all round course.
