Designed by the great Jack Nicklaus and son Steve The Nicklaus golf course at Carden Park Hotel is described as a ‘thinking man’s course’ by Jack Nicklaus himself.
Located to the front of the Carden Park Hotel estate you will weave your way around the course whilst testing your skills. For a great game on The Nicklaus course you need to approach with a focus on position rather than length.
Several double option holes including the 7th and the 15th offer a choice of fairways to reach the green.
The 15th in particular is recommended by our Head Professional for a challenge. This is a long par 4 with our of bounds to the right with a stream to conquer on the second shot to a well protected green.
For a more generous hole, play to the fairway on the right of the 6th leaving you a short iron to the generous green. An average fourball will complete The Nicklaus course in 4 hours.
